The regional competitive season of Paralympic Athletics ended in Syracuse in Syracuse, with an extraordinary balance for the Polisportiva FC Contensi protagonist of the championship. The athletes dominated all fronts, confirming themselves for the second consecutive year first absolute and totaling overall 45 medals, testifying to a path of constant growth both in times and in performance.
The next goal is already set: the National final of the corporate championships of Paralympic athletics, scheduled in Jesolo on 25 and 26 October, where the team will bring enthusiasm and encouraging results to the track.
The support of the Sicily delegation is fundamental, with the delegate Giovanni Cipri and the technical delegate Salvatore Nitto, flanked by Giuseppe Posse. The latter, also as a company technician, was able to follow the athletes by reconciling their commitments and stimulating them to overcome their limits with dedication and professionalism.
The Polisportiva also wanted to thank the municipal administration for the proximity throughout the season and the most loyal fans, in particular the “Nino Cucinotta” association, always present to support the boys.
A memorable year that consecrates Sicily to the top of Paralympic Athletics and that prepares the ground for a new, exciting national challenge.
