A vast fire broke out this morning in the territory of Santa Domenica Talao, propagating quickly due to the strong gusts of wind that has been interested in the area for hours.
The flames, developed near the state road 504, near a service station, have also threatened the inhabited center, making the precautionary evacuation of the schools necessary.
The Canadair are engaged on the spot, called to support the extinguishing operations from the ground coordinated by the Civil Protection, the Fire Brigade, the Calabria Verde teams and the volunteers.
The situation remains critical and the authorities recommend the utmost prudence to the population.
