Moments of tension on the evening of September 16 in via Masciari in Catanzaro, where a dispute between a young woman and her partner requested the intervention of the Flying Squad of the State Police.
According to what was reconstructed by the agents, the woman, in a strong state of agitation, would have tried to set fire to the man’s car. At the sight of the police, the situation is further degenerated: the young woman lashed out against the policemen who intervened, hitting them and forcing one of them to resort to medical treatment.
Blocked and arrested for resistance to public officials, the woman was conducted before the judge. At the outcome of the validation hearing and the judgment for Direttissimo, the measure of house arrest had been ordered against him. However, being already entrusted to social services, the surveillance court has decided to suspend the alternative measure, ordering its translation into prison.
