From 2pm on Wednesday 18 September the firefighters of the Messina Command are engaged in the countryside of San Piero Patti, in the Messina area, for the research of a 71 -year -old man, who could be injured.
Teams of the detachments of Patti and Sant’Agata di Militello participate in the operations, coordinated by a local command unit sent by the Messina headquarters. On the spot also Personal Tas, a helicopter of the Flight Department of Catania and the guard official.
The dog unit and the SAPR nucleus of the Fire Brigade, together with the Alpine Rescue of the Guardia di Finanza, the volunteers of the Civil Protection, the Rangers of Italy and the Forestry Corps are also activated. Research is still ongoing.
