Can the center -right of Messina, compared to the Basile administration (and therefore to the political area of Cateno De Luca) can still be considered opposition? A simple question, the answer of which is not trivial, if you think that, in the city council, the coalition boasts the absolute majority, with 16 councilors (5 Lega, 3 brothers of Italy, 3 now Sicily, 2 Forza Italia, 1 Christian Democracy and 2 to the mixed group, but still of “area”). It cannot be said that, more or less sporadically, it is not witnessed to interventions if it is also the case hard, by exponents of the center -right, towards the administration. But it must also be said that, apart from some rare exceptions (see the Pums of over a year ago), it has never been recorded who knows what tough opposition to Basile and members. Beyond the classroom dynamics, however, the question is repeated, today, in the light of a series of events and maneuvers that cannot still consider Messina for a long time.
Some ideas, in this sense, come from one of the leaders of the center -right Messina, the regional secretary of the Nino Germanà League, which, however, at Palazzo Zanca “guides” the most represented party. On De Luca, Germanà clearly said that “his approach to the center -right is now obvious”. And he also added, compared to the City Administration Council relations, “I don’t see a center-right that makes barricades”.
Two other elements must be added to everything: just this morning, at noon, Cateno De Luca will be at the side of Roberto Occhiuto, in Reggio Calabria, in a press conference of the election campaign for the regional in Calabria (with Occhiuto who, last week, said that Sud calls North “is now organic to the center-right”).
