The appointment as president of the Calabrian port Paolo Piacenza (as well as the other commissioners identified by the government to the photojunish) seems to have to sweat. The stall on the OK at its late confirmation to arrive, determining a situation of uncertainty in the Authority of Gioia Tauro. In fact, the majority of government has failed to find names that put everyone in agreement for the weight and skills of the interested parties. It continues to be only a political question and the expenses are the ADSPs, complex but rich entities from a financial point of view, capable of conditioning a good slice of the economy of the territories where they insist.
The “Calabria case” is perhaps the most emblematic: the appointment of Paolo Piacenza came on the last useful day, the last name indicated by the Ministry of Transport. Last of the last despite the port of Gioia has leadership in Italy, but this often goes unnoticed. Since then almost two months have passed and, also thanks to the summer break, the parliamentary commissions have not found the square on what is indicated by the minister and vice premier Matteo Salvini.
