A meeting that was not only of courtesy, but the concrete sign of a common will: that of strengthening the network between civil society and institutions in the sign of legality. This morning Giuseppe Borrello, the regional coordinator of Libera, crossed the threshold of the provincial command of the carabinieri to get to know Colonel Antonio Parillo, who took office on 8 September at the helm of the Vibonese weapon.

A face to face that also gave space to the values: “Calabria has to raise its head – said Borrello – a cultural revolution is needed that makes a collective act denunciation”. Parillo, for its part, underlined how “collaboration with associative realities as free is an added value, because legality grows only if institutions and citizens walk together”.

A meeting, therefore, which marks the beginning of a new season of dialogue. Because the Vibonese, a land of extraordinary natural beauty and a millennial story that looks to the Tyrrhenian and greenhouses, deserves to be told and lived for its excellence and not only for the judicial chronicles.
