Between electoral slogans and recycled promises, there are those who try to transform historical delays into growth assets. Francesco Napoli, national vice president of Confapi and regional reference leader, tries to overturn the narrative of Calabria with an articulated relaunch plan for those who will be called to govern the Region. More than a political manifesto, an industrial project. The Confapi proposal breaks the scheme of assistance: no more periphery to be saved, but productive node in the Euromediterranean basin. The goal of Naples is to create growth, employment and value, putting resources, skills and infrastructures to a system.
Confapi’s reasoning starts from an idea of family and demography as a fuel for the economy. We need a “national pact for birth”, with a monthly contribution of 1,000 euros for each child from the second onwards up to five years. An incentive to birthday, female employment and social cohesion, rather than a simple subsidy. Tourism lever is the second development axis: seven strategic accommodation facilities, between coasts and plateaus, to position Calabria in the high -end international tourism segment.
