The Municipality of Cassano Alla Ionio will benefit from regional funding equal to 47,000 euros intended for the digitization of the municipal civil protection plan and the purchase of the relative billboard for the physical identification of the emergency areas.
Objectives of the municipal offices were: the enhancement and logistical and technological adjustment of the regional Civil Protection system in order to strengthen the operational capacity of the Civil Protection System, improving the forecasting capacity and timeliness of response in the event of emergencies. The objective of increasing the resilience of communities is also fundamental, making the information useful for the safety of citizens more and more accessible.
