Seven sentences, with strong discounts of sentence, and two acquittals. This is the conclusion of the appeal process of the anti -drug operation “La Villetta”. The sentence is of the Court of Appeal, chaired by judge Carmelo Tripodi, who has redeveloped the facts by recognizing the association aimed at slight events reaching less hard penalties.
At the center of the trial the investigation of the mobile team with the coordination of the District Anti -Mafia Directorate, which had brought to light the drug dealing activity in a cross -country “house”.
These are the sentences: Placido “Dino” Arena 9 years and 6 months, Valentina Fenghi 3 years and 8 months, Gianluca Fenghi 5 years and 4 months and 4 thousand euros of fine, Fabio Fenghi 7 years and 6 thousand euros of fine, Saverio Scudellà 3 years, Ester Caliri 1 year and a thousand euros of fine, Domenico D’Amico 1 year, 8 months, 20 days, and 2400 euros of fine, Generic. The benefit of the suspended penalty was also granted. Instead, they were totally acquitted with the formula “for not having committed the fact” Antonia Fenghi and Esmeralda Giletto.
