The Metropolitan Council, gathered at Palazzo Alvaro, and chaired by the Metropolitan Mayor Giuseppe Falcomatà, with the assistance of the Secretary General Umberto Nucara, during the last session, approved a series of acts, including: the proposal of the training offer plan, relating to the school year 2026/2027, part of the sizing of the school network of the Metropolitan City, transmitted to the Calabria Region and the resource resolution, From the Calabria Region, for the completion of the fast scrolling roads A2 San Roberto/Campo Calabro/Piani Aspromonte and SSV Reggio Calabria/Cardeto Vallata Sant’Agata.
During the work on the two points he reported the metropolitan deputy mayor Carmelo Versace which highlighted, in the first case the will of Palazzo Alvaro to confirm, to the Calabria Region, the system scheduled with the territories regarding the plan of the training offer including the four addresses rejected by the Region and which concern the ISS “Pizi” of Palmi, the ISS “Milan” of Polistena, the ISS “Gemelli-Careri” Mamertina and the ISS “La Cava” of Bovalino.
On the road works, the same deputy mayor, while approving the resolution, hoped for an update of the agreement with the Calabria Region to have clarity on the time schedule for the start and conclusion of the works and a greater concertation with the territory. In the classroom, during the discussion, the importance of funding due to the repercussions on the territories involved was however highlighted by other directors.
