“In May 2016, the architect Mario Sidoti drafted the general report on the PRG, also brought to the attention of the city council on January 31, 2017. In June 2020 the same professional completed the directives on the PRG but these, inexplicably, never arrived in the classroom for the discussion and approval despite having been delivered to the then councilors”.
He is the independent municipal councilor Felice Scafidi who ignites the spotlight on the PRG of the Paladino Municipality expired for years. Scafidi, relating to his “no” to the restoration of the Construction Commission, requested by the minority group “Change head”, of which until recently he was one of the components, so he says: “I expressed a vote against the motion not for a opposition of principle, but because I believe that the urgency today is another: accelerating the definition and approval of the directives on the general regulatory plan. The councilor also focuses on the cementing of the urban fabric that the city is suffering: “My fear, shared by many citizens, is that the prolongation of this administrative inertia is allowing a progressive and worrying consumption of soil, in contrast to the same technical directives elaborated by the professional in charge, which even then spoke clearly of a saturated territory”.
