Having playing redemption in two consecutive trips may not be a negative factor. It is true that between “Marassi” on Wednesday evening and Monza on Saturday afternoon there will not be the push of the “Ceravolo”, but the Catanzaro has so far expressed itself better in the two games outside the home than in the internal ones. Or at least it was more continuous, without the ups and downs of the three home exits, when the first time undertone if not disappointing were balanced by second more convincing fractions.
The recovery against Juve Stabia was probably the best for play and occasions. Numerical superiority has helped, but it should be emphasized that the Giallorossi have been able to exploit it with a higher pace and the ability to create the spaces against an opponent who had lowered his defensive block: it was not obvious to affect that way, on this in Aquilani it cannot be gave wrong. In the end, the lucidity was missing to completely overturn the double disadvantage, but between the two goals scored and the other chances built the indications seem valid in a context of 15 conclusions (out of 19 overall), most in the area, in 51 minutes recovery included: it means that the monstrous ball possession (81%) was not a cloying Tiki Taka. Among other things, the Campania, before the trip to Calabria, were the team that had granted less shots in B, just 24.
Sampdoria seen so far could leave the ball to Catanzaro not by constraint, but by strategy, therefore re -proposing an effectiveness similar to “marassi” will be essential. At this point it is natural that Aquilani images to start from the second half with Juve Stabia in terms of approach and attitude if not by all the men who were on the pitch (but more than someone surely yes).
