The “Topics 2000” association Calabria, led by Cinzia Docile, addressed an open letter to the three candidates for the presidency of the Region – Roberto Occhiuto, Pasquale Tridico and Francesco Toscano – to draw attention to some priorities that can no longer be postponed.
Calabrian citizens will return to the polls one year in advance of the natural expiry of the mandate. A condition that – underlines the Association – is repeated too often in regional political history, with premature interruptions of the institutional courses: “Any interruption not linked to causes of force majeure represents an attempt to debase the vote of citizens”.
