Tragedy in the early afternoon today in Gioiosa Marea. A 62 -year -old man, Leo Scaffidi, died of an accidental fall while he was climbing over the entrance gate of the municipal stadium. According to the first information, it seems that the man, a member of the technical staff of the local football formation, was trying to climb over the gate, not having the keys with him and that he therefore lost his balance by falling into the void. Rescue promptly warned, unfortunately there was nothing to do for the man.
On the spot the carabinieri of the local station who immediately informed the judicial authority. At the disposal of the Public Prosecutor of Patti, the 62 -year -old body was transferred to the Polyclinic of Messina for the legal legal investigations of the case, while the same structure in which the accident occurred was placed under seizure.
