The preparatory activities continue to the Municipality in view of the regional elections of 5 and 6 October next, aimed at the correct and efficient performance of the voting operations.
Chaired by the general secretary Vincenzina Sica and the manager of the sector Antonino Ferraiolo, a training session was held yesterday to the municipal employees who will be intended for the ninety -two electoral sections with the task of delivering the materials to the presidents of the seat: cards, registers, etc.; provide useful information to the correct settlement of the seats themselves; transmit to Palazzo De Nobili the turnout data during the canonical hours of detection, as well as the results of the ballots.
The latter two activities will be carried out with the help of a computer platform that will allow the transmission of data in real time and, above all, will guarantee the certainty of the data thanks to the functions of the software used, which allow you to record any accounting anomaly in the results of the ballots. A guarantee, therefore, of the rigorous respect for the will of the voters. The municipal employees present in the seats will “dialogue” with the offices of Palazzo De Nobili through the platform on which the data will be loaded; From here, therefore, the need for training, which was made by the technicians of IFM srl who made the system.
This afternoon, as announced in recent days, the study session dedicated to the presidential presidents appointed by the Court of Appeal of Catanzaro as well as to the members of the dedicated register, for a technical deepening on voting and scrutiny operations, as well as on the verbalization of the results, is foreseen. The meeting is also open to the participation of those who – in possession of a second degree secondary school diploma and with previous experiences such as members of seats – can be included in a special list from which to draw in the event that it is necessary to proceed with the surrogate of polling stations unable or absent.
