Arab mediators had production interviews with Hamas on the United States level to end the Gaza war and an answer from the terrorist group could already arrive today. A source close to the negotiations told the Times of Israel, underlining that, although Hamas’s response will be “positive”, it will still require different changes to the proposal and adds that Qatar has contacted the United States to modify some parts of the plan. The changes concern in particular the graduality of the withdrawal of the IDF from Gaza, the disarmament of Hamas and the security guarantees after the possible exile of the leadership.
