“Inadmissible”. Thus the Court of Cassation dismissed the appeal brought by the public prosecutor against the order with which the Court of Review annulled last January the order of the investigating judge which had placed the municipal councilor Sergio Costanzo under house arrest, as part of the investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office into the alleged wrongdoings in the management of Aterp. On 20 December 2024, 8 people were arrested, held responsible, in various capacities, for association aimed at committing material and ideological falsehoods committed by public officials in public documents, corruption, extortion and omission of official acts, undue inducement to give or promise benefits.
