Two new minibuses have been delivered to the Mortuary Police Service operating within the Gran Camposanto of Messina. The vehicles, made available by the Municipality’s Urban Mobility Department, are equipped with a platform to facilitate access for people with mobility difficulties and replace two obsolete vehicles, guaranteeing a more efficient and comfortable service for users.

“This is a further gesture of attention – declared the Councilor for Cemeteries Massimiliano Minutoli – aimed at improving the quality of the service and encouraging access to the cemetery by those who wish to visit their loved ones. The Administration is constantly committed to making the places of memory more dignified and welcoming, especially in proximity to the anniversary of the deceased, when the Grand Cemetery welcomes thousands of citizens”. The initiative is part of the path started by the municipal administration for the strengthening and modernization of cemetery services, with particular attention to the dignity of places of memory and support for the most vulnerable people.
