This was stated in a note by the mayor of Cassano allo Ionio, Gianpaolo Iacobini. «A choice which – according to the mayor – risks isolating Sibari and Cassano All’Ionio entirely, causing serious inconvenience to citizens, families, workers and businesses. As the Municipal Administration we strongly protest against this method and formally ask the Province, Anas, Webuild and Sirjo for an urgent meeting to identify, with common sense and responsibility, alternative solutions that do not further penalize our community, particularly during the Christmas holidays”.
