The almost deserted city council opened yesterday morning to discuss the arson attack at the cash desk of the tax office on November 27th by 45-year-old Pasquale Alampi, immediately identified and arrested by the police.
Just about fifteen citizens in the courtroom; half of those present were mayors of the Piana: 8 out of 33 responded to the appeal. Schools, associations, parties and a large part of the city councilors desert. Without a quorum, the meeting was held anyway thanks to a bipartisan agreement between Prime Minister Ranieri and opposition councilor Schiavone.
