Domenico Martelli, 56 years old, journalist and political commentator, passed away this afternoon. He was in his car while driving along the former state road 522 at the entrance to Vibo Marina when he felt ill. At that point, the car, out of control, crashed into a wall. Once the emergency services were alerted, there was nothing that could be done for the journalist. He leaves behind a wife and two children. Today a political commentator for the LaC News24 network, he was director of the online newspaper Il Fatto di Calabria. Martelli also led the Province of Cosenza and supported the Igreco group in communication. In the past he was responsible for the Cosenza pages of Domani della Calabria. His name is also linked to the weekly news magazine Mezzoeuro.
