Matteo Berrettini wins and convinces. The Roman tennis player enters the round of 16 of the «Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters», the third «1000» of the season, with a prize pool of 6,309,095 euros, which is being played on the red clay of the Monte-Carlo Country Club, in the Principality of Monaco. After having benefited on his debut from the withdrawal of the Spaniard Roberto Bautista Agut, number 85 ATP, halfway through the first set with a score of 4-0, Berrettini (90th in the ranking) overwhelmed the Russian Daniil Medvedev, number 10 ATP and seventh seed, with a score of 6-0, 6-0, gained in just 51 minutes of play.
