Sergio Ferrari remains Regional Councilor, first elected on the Forza Italia list in the Central College in the elections last October. This was confirmed by the Ordinary Court of Catanzaro with a sentence filed today. A “citizen voter” of Catanzaro (Pasquale Leone) had lodged an appeal against him to have his incompatibility declared for not having resigned in time from the position of President of the Province of Crotone.
The Court, fully accepting the defenses carried out for Ferrari by the lawyer. Alfredo Gualtieri, of the Court of Catanzaro, noted that he had promptly removed the cause of incompatibility by ceasing, within the terms, from the office of Mayor of Cirò Marina and, at the same time, according to law, as President of the Province.
The notification of the appeal when the procedure was amply defined, led the Judges to reject the action and condemn the appellant “citizen voter” (defended by the lawyer Oreste Morcavallo of the Court of Cosenza) to pay the costs of the litigation in favor of the lawyer of Councilor Ferrari (current President of the fourth Commission at Palazzo Campanella), lawyer.
