Great music returns to be the protagonist in the heart of Calabria. As part of the 2026 Concert Season, the Catanzaro section of the A.Gi.Mus. (Musical Youth Association) invites citizens to an event of extraordinary prestige, capable of intertwining notes, words and figurative arts.

The appointment is set for Friday 24 April 2026, at 6.30 pm, in the evocative setting of the Concert Hall of the Municipality of Catanzaro.

A program between virtuosity and refined elegance

The concert promises to be a true sentimental journey through the centuries. At the center of the evening will be the harmonious contrast between two giants of the history of music: on the one hand the overwhelming and romantic virtuosity of Franz Liszt, on the other the refined and velvety elegance of Ottorino Respighi.

It will be a rare opportunity to appreciate the technical complexity of the piano and the lyrical expressiveness of the voice, in a continuous dialogue that promises to excite both connoisseurs and neophytes.

The protagonists: excellence on stage

Bringing this refined repertoire to life will be two artists of proven talent: Teresa Cardace (voice), a sensitive interpreter with great stage charisma, and Nico Fuscaldo (piano), a soloist capable of ranging from technical rigor to interpretative passion.

Enriching the listening experience will be the presence of Laura Screnci, who will play the dual role of reciting voice and listening guide, providing the audience with the keys to understanding necessary to fully immerse themselves in the compositions performed.

A dialogue between the arts: music, journalism and painting

The event will not be limited to the sound dimension alone. The evening will be introduced by the journalist Arcangelo Pugliese, who will open the proceedings by tracing the cultural context of the initiative.

Furthermore, the public will have the privilege of admiring the works of Corrado Corradino, present with the exhibition entitled “Art and popular devotion”. A perfect combination that transforms the Concert Hall into a multidisciplinary cultural lounge, where visual beauty blends with acoustic beauty.
