The ribbon was cut on the “Italo Falcomatà” seafront, which inaugurates the 2026 edition of the “Reggio Calabria Street Food Fest”. From last night to Sunday, with one more day after last year’s success, the flavors of the best and most appetizing street foods will be the absolute protagonists. The event, conceived and organized by Eventamente (with the patronage of the Municipality and the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria – Anima Autentica -, Reggio Calabria heart of the Mediterranean, Chambers of Commerce of Reggio Calabria and Messina, UniMe Bioform Department and the “Trecroci” Hotel Institute of Villa San Giovanni, Atam) also guarantees entertainment, from live music to the most exciting suggestions of street artists and forms of circus expression, while in the show cooking area the best Calabrian and Sicilian chefs and ice cream masters will enhance the Calabrian companies and raw materials, protagonists of the show cooking conducted by the journalist Valeria Zingale.
«This year too, the Bridge of Taste, as we called it last year, joins Calabria and Sicily» explains Alberto Palella, administrator of Eventamente. We are here again with so much emotion. One year ago Reggio Calabria welcomed us with great affection. Also in this edition there will be many operators with traditional recipes and innovative proposals. Several chefs and ice cream masters. We have expanded the show cooking area. We will talk about food, wine and excellence.”
