Dear petrol, a blow for Calabrian families: a drain of over a thousand euros a year

The energy crisis bites the foundations of domestic finances and daily certainties disappear in the face of this new flare-up of inflation which puts at risk the stability of families’ purchasing power and the well-being of production chains. A wound that spreads throughout the country, but it is here that it feeds the most fear because Calabria suffers from a situation of greater fragility than the rest of the national territory. Little money and many dreams flourish in a daily reality which, in this land, is historically more complicated.
And, as if that wasn’t enough, petrol prices have started to rise again and the margin with diesel has narrowed to 14.8 cents. Yesterday the “green” one, in Calabria, reached an average of 1.916 euros per litre, the diesel 2.064.
