Taxpayers who have signed up to the scrapping quinquies will be able to pay the first and only installment or the last of the installment plan with 5 days of grace. This is provided for by an amendment by the League to the tax decree approved by the Senate Finance Committee.

The change also introduces the possibility for scrapping quinquies, as already for the quater, to pay within 5 days of the end of the instalment: but only for those who choose to pay in a single solution or for the last installment of the installment plan. However, the benefit is forfeited in the case of “failure or insufficient payment” or, only for the single or last instalment, even in the case of “late payment exceeding five days”.
