Tomorrow we will play a playoff final which was not the goal that Reggina and Nissa dreamed of. The Amaranth team is preparing for the trip to Caltanissetta and today, at 12 pm, Alfio Torrisi’s press conference is scheduled. The coach will give the usual point of view on the general conditions of the group. The feeling is that from a tactical and manpower point of view we will continue along the line that has generated a certain continuity in choices in recent weeks. In Sicily a challenge is being played which during the season was a direct clash. Reggina beat the Sicilians twice, marking the only positive difference between this season and the previous one, namely the ability to win against teams from the top of the table. It must be said that, in the end, a team that Reggina was unable to beat, namely Savoia, went to Serie C. The direct clashes were once again potentially decisive.

It was the seventh consecutive victory for a team that would reach nine, before an unexpected declining phase. The streak stopped at nine, but after the three points with Vibonese and the difficult victory at Gelbison, two draws and two knockouts in the next six made the Amaranth season a failure. Nissa was the other big favorite in the summer. In the end they had to give way to Savoia, despite the final blow.
