There are more games in progress and more at stake in the electoral round which will open tomorrow at 7am (ballot boxes open until 11pm) and will close on Monday at 3pm. In the province of Messina, voting is taking place in seventeen municipalities, including the capital: here Federico Basile, after resigning early in February, is attempting an encore, challenged by Marcello Scurria (centre-right), Antonella Russo (centre-left) and the civic outsiders Gaetano Sciacca and Lillo Valvieri. Yesterday, everyone “performed” in the final rallies (Valvieri instead chose only social media). Among the other municipalities called to the polls are Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto, Milazzo and Giardini Naxos.
