A 48-year-old arrested in Capo d’Orlando by the Sant’Agata carabinieri for possession for the purpose of drug dealing.

The soldiers – during a targeted service – actually caught the man in possession of 6 grams of marijuana.
This also resulted in a house search, which then allowed the operatives to find and seize – in the bedroom and in the storage room of the house – a further 175 grams of the same narcotic substance, as well as 19 grams of hashish and a precision electronic scale.
Furthermore, during the operations carried out in the house, the subject also attempted to get rid of part of the narcotic he was in possession of by throwing a pack of cigarettes containing some doses out of a window, which however was promptly recovered by the military.

In light of what emerged, the 48-year-old was therefore subjected to house arrest at the disposal of the judicial authority awaiting the validation judgement, while the narcotic will be handed over to the Carabinieri of the RIS of Messina for laboratory analysis.
