The new mayor of Reggio Calabria Francesco Cannizzaro wrote this in a post on Facebook. «Therefore – he continues – having repeatedly consulted with the relevant municipal offices and with the president of the Court, Giuseppe Campagna, whom I deeply thank for his understanding and availability, having overcome the technical aspects which in principle prevented us from postponing the ceremony of my formal proclamation as mayor of Reggio Calabria, we have agreed to postpone the proclamation until next week. A necessary act, as a sign of respect for the serious loss that has affected the family of our little fellow citizen.”
