Giacomo Frasconà Filaro, 20, his 49-year-old father Antonino and his 19-year-old brother Mario, accused in conspiracy of voluntary manslaughter for the death of Giuseppe Di Dio, the 16-year-old killed by a gunshot on the evening of November 1st in Capizzi (Messina), will be judged using the abbreviated procedure. In acceptance of the request presented by the legal defense of the three, lawyer Felice Lo Furno, following the previous decree of immediate judgment, the hearing has now been set for next 23 July in front of the Gup of the Court of Enna Giuseppe Noto.

The dynamics of the murder in Capizzi

We remember that Giuseppe Di Dio was killed by one of the three gunshots fired by Giacomo Frasconà Filaro among the crowd of very young people in front of a bar in Via Roma in Capizzi. The target was another local young man with whom there had been disagreements in the previous weeks and an argument shortly before in another bar in the area.

The role of father and brother

The father and brother respond as material and moral competitors for having accompanied him by car to the places, although they declared that they were unaware that he was armed as well as of his intentions, having intervened to bring Giacomo home after learning of his involvement in a quarrel.
