Pension payment June 2026: when the credit arrives and all the dates of the INPS calendar.
The payment of pensions for June 2026 follows the ordinary rule of the first bankable day of the month. Since June 1st falls on a Monday, the credit is available as early as Monday June 1st 2026, both for those who receive their pension on a bank account and for those who collect it through the Italian Post Office.
Pension payment calendar June 2026
For the month of June, the credit is set for Monday 1 June 2026 for all types of treatment: old-age pension, early pension, reversibility pension, social allowance and disability pension.
It should be noted that on Tuesday 2 June, Republic Day, post offices remain closed: the holiday does not affect electronic accreditations, but shifts the shifts for collecting cash at the counter.
Pension calendar 2026: next payments
Below are the credit dates expected by INPS for the upcoming months. Unless otherwise indicated, the date applies to both banks and Poste Italiane:
- June: Monday 1st June;
- July: Wednesday 1st July (with the fourteenth for those who are entitled to it);
- August: Saturday 1st August (Post Office), Monday 3rd August (banks);
- September: Tuesday 1st September;
- October: Thursday 1 October;
- November: Monday 2 November;
- December: Tuesday 1st December (with the thirteenth).
In August, post offices and banks have non-aligned dates: postal account holders receive credit on Saturday 1st, bank account holders receive credit on Monday 3rd, the first available bankable day.
Cash withdrawal at the post office: shifts by surname
Anyone who withdraws their pension in cash at post offices must respect the alphabetical order by surname, distributed over the first days of the month starting from the date of credit.
- The limit for cash withdrawal is 1,000 euros net in total;
- for higher amounts it is necessary to indicate a traceable instrument (account, booklet or card);
- the exact schedule of shifts by letter is communicated by Poste Italiane about a week in advance, and may vary from one office to another.
Thirteenth and fourteenth 2026
The thirteenth is paid together with the December installment. The fourteenth is due to pensioners with low incomes and is paid in the summer months, generally with the July payment, directly on the monthly payslip.
How to check your payslip
The net amount, deductions and any adjustments can be consulted in advance on the pension payslip by accessing the MyINPS area with SPID, CIE or CNS credentials. In the payslip it is possible to check additional IRPEF, adjustments from form 730, recoveries of sums and any salary-backed loans.
What to do if your pension doesn’t arrive
In case of failure to be credited on the scheduled date, it is advisable to:
- please wait 24-48 hours, as currency times may vary between institutions;
- check the INPS payslip to verify that the mandate has been issued;
- verify that the payment details registered with INPS are correct and updated.
The crediting dates may undergo slight variations based on the technical times of banks and the Italian Post Office and the processing of individual procedures.
