The mayor of Messina Federico Basile invited the mayoral candidates who participated in the recent administrative elections, Marcello Scurria, Antonella Russo, Gaetano Sciacca, and Lillo Valvieri, to a moment of institutional discussion aimed at starting a constructive dialogue on Thursday 4 June at 9.30 am at Palazzo Zanca.
The invitation addressed to the candidates represents a gesture of institutional courtesy and attention towards all the political sensitivities that have gathered the consensus of the citizens of Messina, in the belief that the contribution of different ideas, proposals and points of view can constitute an added value. “The broad consensus obtained in the recent administrative elections – states mayor Federico Basile – reinforces, and does not modify, a principle that has always characterized our administrative action: a policy based on listening, discussion and dialogue. A method that has accompanied the administrative path of these years and which will continue to guide the city’s government action, in the belief that the contribution of the different sensitivities emerging from the vote can still represent a resource”.
