There is a clear destination with a strong social value for the 175,000 euros deriving from the compensation paid by the film company “11 Marzo Film Srl” into the coffers of the Municipality of Lipari. That sum, linked to the events of the fire that developed during the filming of the drama on Civil Protection with Ambra Angiolini, will not be dispersed in a thousand streams but will be entirely invested in Stromboli to give a concrete response to the youngest families and residents. As can be seen from the council resolution, the municipal administration, having taken note of the detailed technical and programmatic report sent by the manager of the 3rd Sector, architect Mirko Ficarra, in charge of verifying a priority intervention for the community of Stromboli, approved the proposed direction for the redevelopment of an area of strategic public property: the area called “Il Limoneto” which will be partly used as a playground.
