The rooms of Villa Fabiano, in Rende, will host the Calabrian Otolaryngology and Allergology Days on 5 and 6 June, an event dedicated to specialist updating which aims to consolidate itself as a point of reference for medical training in the head and neck area.

The congress, now in its fifth edition, is organized by Stefano Fucile and chaired by Elena Cantone, both belonging to the Uoc of Otolaryngology of the Cosenza hospital, with the support of the provider Xenia of Francesca Mazza, an organization active in the organization of training events with a high scientific content.

A multidisciplinary comparison

The initiative is based on the desire to offer a multidisciplinary update capable of involving the main areas of otolaryngology, rhinology, allergology, otology, audiovestibology and laryngology.

The objective is to encourage the integration of different skills for increasingly effective management of head and neck pathologies, which require coordinated and personalized diagnostic and therapeutic pathways. The scientific sessions will address numerous topics, from allergic and rhino-sinus pathologies to dizziness, from sudden hearing loss to oncological conditions and borderline surgical pathologies.

The congress will also offer an opportunity for direct discussion between otolaryngologists and other professionals involved in the care of patients, with the aim of encouraging the construction of shared, faster and more effective paths.

The new frontiers of diagnosis and therapy

Ample space will be dedicated to diagnostic, surgical and therapeutic innovation. The program includes in-depth studies on the most advanced tools for pediatric diagnosis, on new rehabilitation paths, on the latest generation surgical techniques and on the use of biological drugs, which are increasingly relevant in the management of chronic allergic and inflammatory pathologies.

The master classes and practical sessions will be aimed at providing participants with tools that are immediately applicable in daily clinical practice, enhancing the comparison between specialists and the experience gained in the field.

An important event for the scientific community

The Calabrian Days of Otolaryngology and Allergology are proposed as an opportunity for high-profile updating, capable of combining scientific rigor, multidisciplinarity and attention to the needs of healthcare professionals.

The initiative also contributes to strengthening Calabria’s role as a place for discussion and growth for the medical community, enhancing skills, experiences and new clinical perspectives in a constantly evolving sector.
