Inconveniences for two days in 13 municipalities served totally or partially by the Alcantara aqueduct of Siciliacque. In fact, since 8am today, the water supply downstream of the Letojanni power plant has been interrupted to carry out an urgent repair that can no longer be deferred on the water supply, with the interruption of the water supply. The works will last approximately 24 hours and considering the time required to fill, wash and disinfect the pipeline, Siciliacque expects supplies to be restored by 8am on Wednesday 17th.
The municipalities affected are Alì Terme, Casalvecchio Siculo, Forza d’Agrò, Furci Siculo (Pineta area), Gallodoro, Itala (Bardaro district), Letojanni (Poggio Mastro Pietro, Andreana, Blandina, Silemi alta and Gallinella districts), Nizza di Sicilia (Eos88 cooperatives and agricultural users), Roccalumera (Allume and Sciglio hamlets, Cimitero area, San Leonardo area, via Mazzullo, Sp Mandanici, Sofi condominium), Sant’Alessio Siculo, Santa Teresa di Riva (via Savoca alta, Scorsonello, Catalmo, Combraci, Ligoria and Panoramica), Savoca and Scaletta Zanclea (Scaletta upper and Guidomandri upper). The disruption will only affect the areas and users connected to the Siciliacque company network.
