Remigration «does not refer to those who come to us to work honestly and integrate into our society. At the end of their work performance they will return to their countries of origin.” Roberto Vannacci claims this in an interview published today in Corriere del Veneto.

According to the leader of Futuro Nazionale, immigrants who work in Italy «don’t pay our pensions, they pay theirs. And those who have not assimilated into the society in which they have been guests for 40 years will not have their residence permit renewed and will return to their country of origin. Which is the hope of every emigrant. There is no right acquired by the simple fact of having worked in a State to become an integral part of the people of that State. As for citizenship, we will propose an extension of time and the examination of some indicators that are not based solely on the time spent in a State”.

Proposals for businesses

On the proposals for entrepreneurs, with whom a meeting is scheduled in Veneto in early July, «we are thinking of a single tax rate for SMEs – indicates Vannacci – as for VAT numbers. And then de-bureaucratize the balance between debts and credits of SMEs. As for trade, tax relief for businesses in villages with fewer than 1,000 inhabitants. Then tax exemption for investments in the company and distribution of the company’s capital towards the employees.”

The relationship with the League

On the alleged “betrayal” towards the League, “I have always been consistent, in Veneto I received 73 thousand preferences in the European elections, I was voted for, not the League. Who, moreover, is a sovereignist every other week”, concludes Vannacci.
