“We need everyone’s contribution and working with a large majority.” Franco Iacucci has no doubts, convinced that to relaunch the Democratic Party it is necessary to put aside misunderstandings and structure a credible project. «Otherwise – he says – every objective becomes in vain».
The debate within the party continues to take center stage, fresh from a not too flattering performance during the recent electoral campaigns staged in the Bruzio area, including administrative elections in the municipalities and the climb to the Province. Currently, in fact, the Federation is orphaned of its helmsman, since the secretary Matteo Lettieri, in recent days, resigned, arriving after just a year of mandate, when at the time of the congress the fractures between currents were quite evident.
And today, therefore, we are talking about a restart again, even if the path is uphill. Iacucci, however, a leading exponent of the Democratic Party, former vice-president of the Regional Council, former mayor of Aiello Calabro and tenant of Piazza 15 Marzo, trusts in the common sense of the democratic components and looks to the future in a positive and proactive way: «We must overcome the conflicts – he remarks – and aim for the unity of the coalition. I believe there are all the conditions for a constructive spirit to be recreated.” In short, the direction along which to walk has been mapped out, which will, however, involve a considerable commitment in the reorganization of the clubs, for example, involving members and supporters more in the dynamics of the party.
