The citizen coordination of Fratelli d’Italia wrote this in a note at the end of a meeting held in the presence of the provincial coordinator, Wanda Ferro, the regional councilor Antonio Montuoro, the regional councilor Filippo Pietropaolo and the city leaders of the party.
The position of the Melonians “derives from the observation that to date there is no concrete and credible project that identifies a new destination for the Apulian garrison” and from a comparison with the health and economic operators of the northern area of the city. It is therefore not just a position dictated by health issues and Fdi underlines this: «The location of the new hospital will influence the urban, economic and social development of the city for the next decades and cannot be addressed without considering the repercussions on the territory. Building the new hospital in Germaneto would mean dealing a very hard blow to the economy of the northern area and the entire city.”
