Calabria, Regional Council: sparks on the usual “omnibus law”

Luckily there is always an “omnibus law” to spark a minimum of debate at Palazzo Campanella. Yesterday the Regional Council gave the green light to the entire agenda in a well-wishing atmosphere starting with the mandatory consultative referendum which will decide on the modification of the territorial borders between the municipalities of Zambrone and Zaccanopoli. The bill no. is also ok. 43/13^, presented by councilors Laghi and Ferrari, aimed at combating contamination by poly and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS). The rule introduces stringent controls and transparency obligations, with the online publication of data within 30 days, for industrial purifiers and landfills, also establishing a permanent technical-scientific committee at Arpacal.
