Flavio Cobolli reaches the Wimbledon quarter-finals. The Roman tennis player, number ten in the men’s ranking and ninth seeded on the draw, beats the Australian Alex de Minaur (number 6 ATP and 5 in the seeding) in three sets with a score of 7-5 7-6 (4) 6-3 in two hours and 34 minutes of play. In the next round, the class of 2002 will face the British Arthur Fery, who beat the expert Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov at the end of a marathon. The second success in the fifth set at the end of a daring match (5-7/6-3/6-4/4-6/7-6). And now the British underdog, home hero, will face Cobolli for a place in the semi-final.
