A push for the health relaunch of internal areas. This is what comes from the “La Cura” civic committee which formally deposited 10,793 signatures in the Regional Council in support of a popular initiative law proposal aimed at the structural relaunch and strengthening of the hospitals of Acri, San Giovanni in Fiore, Serra San Bruno and Soveria Mannelli. The subscriptions collected were almost 13 thousand in total, confirming a civic mobilization which, in just under 6 months, involved thousands of citizens from the mountainous and inland areas of Calabria. The proposal was filed on 29 January 2026, starting the process envisaged for the regional laws of popular initiative. The text was written by the doctor Tullio Laino, expert in health law, and by the journalist Emiliano Morrone, former consultant of the Regional Health Guarantor and now member of the Committee, on the basis of a project developed in recent years to relaunch healthcare in mountain areas.
