The state of implementation of the interventions within the Siderno area foreseen in the “La Città del Mare” project, the failure to start work in the municipal area and the request for clarification on the “Ionic Onda Bridge”, are the subject of the question presented by councilor Antonio Cosimo Pio Trimboli to the president of the municipal council Davide Lurasco. This is a project financed under the Pnrr, for a total amount of 9,700,000.00 euros, a regeneration and redevelopment intervention of the coastal stretch aimed at uniting Locri and Siderno along a single axis consisting of a new waterfront and completed by the construction of a bridge. In the question Trimboli analyzes some passages, starting from the determination of the Municipality of Locri of 10 July in which it emerged that the intervention was structured in two functional lots and that the second “Locri-Siderno” concerns the two Municipalities, providing for urban regeneration works on the coastal stretch and the Novito river; furthermore, by virtue of the deadlines linked to the financing, the second functional lot “Locri-Siderno” was subsequently divided into two distinct functional sections, i.e. Lot 2a – “Locri-Siderno”, including the planned urbanizations and developed on the entire coast and Lot 2b – “Ponte Onda Ionica”, including the interventions relating to the bridge.
