Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz has threatened new attacks against Hezbollah and anyone targeting Israeli soldiers or citizens, as the escalation in southern Lebanon intensifies. «No account, on any front, will remain open. We will strike with all force those who harm our soldiers and our citizens,” Katz wrote on X. His words come after a new wave of Israeli attacks yesterday in southern Lebanon which, according to the Lebanese agency Ani, killed at least 11 people. The IDF said it struck Hezbollah infrastructure in response to an attack on its troops, in which three soldiers were seriously injured. The escalation represents one of the most serious since the truce reached in June between Israel and Hezbollah.
