Swedish police said this evening that one person died and three were injured after a sword-wielding attacker entered a high school in the central Swedish town of Fagersta.
Local police chief Tommy Alriksson told reporters that one person was found dead after police entered the school, shot and arrested the attacker.
Alriksson added that, in addition to the victims, three people were injured, two of them seriously.
The police stress that there is no reason to suspect another culprit besides the young man arrested. Police say they also searched two addresses linked to the culprit.
