Crotone builds, wastes and in the end pays. For “Curcio” a feat from the former Federico Ricci was enough to give Sorrento the 1-0 and leave the rossoblù with more than one regret. Greco’s team starts with personality, dribbles well and especially looks for Zunno in the lane, but lacks concreteness in the final meters. Musso has two good chances, one in the first half and one at the beginning of the second half, without finding the goal. As the minutes passed, Sorrento grew and Crotone lowered their center of gravity. Greco tries to change with Lorenzo Russo, Grosso and then Tordini, but the inertia doesn’t change. In the 24th minute of the second half Cangianiello serves Ricci, who beats Merelli with an elusive left foot. In the final, Crotone is unable to react: it remains an orderly, but not very incisive, performance.
