Pisa wins its first match in the championship by coming from behind to beat Catanzaro 2-1. The first half is a succession of goals, opportunities and emotions. Pisa starts the assault and comes very close to scoring already in the 7th minute when Varrengia saves Tramoni’s shot off the line deflected by Antonini and Pigliacelli. Pisa wins the match but Catanzaro plays their cards and in the 22nd minute they pass with a header from Iemmello following a cross from the right by Candela. For Iemmello it is goal number 76 with the Giallorossi shirt. Pisa, however, reacts brilliantly and in 9 minutes turns it around. In the 28th minute Canestrelli equalizes with a header from a Tramoni corner; in the 31st minute Leone overtakes after a good ball on the ground with a final assist from Correia.
