The summer season gives hotels in the Catanzaro area an overall favorable balance sheet, but with a growth dynamic that remains more limited than that recorded in the other Calabrian areas. A trend that brings attention to the territory’s ability to intercept tourist flows and transform the increase in presences into structural growth of the sector.
«The balance sheet of the Catanzaro hotel structures is positive – states the director of Federalberghi Calabria, Francesco Perino – because there has been a slight increase compared to last year, even if the rest of the region has grown more. We can say that the season went positively, but unfortunately in the Catanzaro area the summer season is still too short because it is concentrated in the months of July and August: already in September there is a notable decline”.
